Model RLR-4 is a new and modified version using the touch panel liquid crystal monitor and improving on the oscillation frequency and the amplitude of oscillation. Product infomation MiniTest 7400 FH: A high-end device for wall thickness measurement

An SIDSP sensor means the MiniTest 7400 FH provides high-precision measurement and reproducibility while compensating for the influence of temperatures in the measuring environment and in the object being measured. Sensors are equipped with carbide tips making them particularly durable.

The MiniTest 7400 FH functions as follows: Thickness is determined by measuring the distance of a reference ball to the sensor tip. The reference ball is attracted by a powerful magnet positioned directly behind the sensor tip. The steel reference balls are treated according to a specialised ElektroPhysik procedure which allows reproducibility of test results of up to 0.5%.

A graphic display and common PC functions (context-specific help, saving of readings in a folder structure, navigating via menus displaying symbols and text) makes the MiniTest 7400 FH extremely easy to use. A user guide is available in 6 languages (German/English/Spanish/French/Italian/Portuguese)

The coating thickness gauge MiniTest 700 is available in 3 different models:

MiniTest 725: The basic version with integrated sensor, a compact design and inexpensive.

MiniTest 735: The standard version with the external sensor connected to the device by a cable to make measurement easy.

MiniTest 745: The flexible version with interchangeable sensors that can be connected to the device either by cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth for greater freedom when measuring coating thickness.

All three versions in the MiniTest 700 series enable the non-destructive measurement of coating thickness for non-magnetic coatings (paint, synthetic material, chrome and other electro-plated, non-magnetic coatings, etc.) on ferromagnetic substrates (steel/iron), and insulating coatings (lacquer, enamel, synthetic material, anodised aluminium, etc.) on conductive substrates (aluminium, copper, titanium, austenitic stainless steel).

LS235 car paint meter

LS235 car paint meter is suitable for detecting the thickness of automotive paint. The body shell is generally made of metal materials such as iron or aluminum and non-metallic materials such as carbon fiber and plastic. Ordinary automotive paint meter can only detect iron and aluminum and non-metallic materials. However, LS235 can not only distinguish the car paint thickness on iron or aluminum substrates, but also discover the non-metal shell, intelligently identify the metallic putty and iron galvanized. It indicates the substrates by tri-color backlight. When the metallic putty is recognized, the screen turns red. When the iron galvanized car body is recognized, the screen turns green. In other measuring pattern, the screen is white.

The MiniTest 2500-4500 series offers a large selection of sensors, different calibration methods and evaluation options for a wide range of tasks in the field of coating measurements.

The non-destructive measurement covers the following measuring range:

0 – 50 mm for non-magnetic coatings on steel
0 – 100 mm for insulating coatings on non-ferrous metals

All probes are equipped with wear resistant poles ensuring long life for use also on abrasive substrates.

Both models are equipped with a huge data memory for storage of up to 2 million measuring values either taken in direct mode (MiniTest 2500) or categorized in an APPLICATION-BATCH memory structure.

Data transfer to PC is carried out via a USB interface; MiniTest 4500 additionally offers Bluetooth connectivity.

An intelligent SIDSP sensor enables the MiniTest FH to provide high-precision measurement and reproducibility while compensating for the influence of temperatures in the measuring environment and in the object being measured. The MiniTest FH functions as follows: Thickness is determined by measuring the distance of a reference ball or wire to the sensor tip. The reference ball is attracted by a powerful magnet positioned directly behind the sensor tip. The steel target balls are treated according to a specialised ElektroPhysik procedure which allows reproducibility of test results of up to 0.5%.

Special features such as an automatic calibration function for zero calibration and direct transfer of readings into a spreadsheet or CAQ system complement the high user comfort provided by the intuitive menu operation.

The coating thickness gauge MiniTest 7400 is an indispensable tool for measuring non-magnetic coatings (paint, synthetic material, chrome, etc.) on ferromagnetic substrates (steel), or insulating coatings (lacquer, enamel, synthetic material, etc.) on conductive substrates (aluminium, copper, stainless steel, etc.).

The MiniTest 7400 enables a wide range of measurements, from the thinnest coatings in the sub-micrometre range (e.g. galvanised coatings), to thick coatings (e.g. flame retardant coatings in steel constructions, rubber coatings, etc.). Measuring objects with difficult geometries (e.g. the measurement of steel pins, or in recesses and holes, etc.) are also no problem for the MiniTest 7400.

SIDSP sensors feature high levels of accuracy and are also extremely durable, easily withstanding years of use even on rough surfaces. Each sensor…

·         is subject to fully automated testing under workshop conditions,

·         is equipped with 50 calibration points to correct even the smallest deviation,

The MiniTest 400 is a sturdy and accurate non destructive ultrasonic wall thickness measurement gauge ideal for measuring hard materials such as metal, synthetic material, glass, ceramic etc., and covers a range of shapes and hollow bodies of all kinds like tanks, pipes and more.

Based on the ultrasonic pulse run-time method, we offer three variations of this wall thickness gauge depending on the users requirements and budget.  Users can choose from 6 ultrasonic probes with frequencies ranging between 2 and 10 MHz in different designs offering a broad spectrum of applications and thickness measurements ranging from 0.65 mm to 500 mm.  A high temperature ultrasonic probe is also available, designed for measurement of hot materials with temperatures of up to 350 °C.  The instrument is equipped for automatic detection of the intelligent ultrasonic probes and re-calibration is not required upon switching probes.

The MiniTest 7400FH is a professional, high-end wall thickness measurement gauge suitable for non-destructive testing of non-magnetic materials such as glass, plastics, stainless steel and composites of up to 24mm.  The thickness gauge is suitable for use on complex component geometries and offers repeatability, compensates for temperature influences of the measuring environment & the measurement object and is very highly wear-resistant.

The wall thickness is determined by measuring the distance of a steel reference ball to the sensor tip.  A powerful magnet attracts the reference ball which holds it exactly over the sensor tip.

Measurements are displayed on an easy to use menu driven operator interface and data filing system.  To maximise the accuracy of the instrument, two easily interchangeable sensors (probes) with a carbide metal probe tip and a variety of ball sizes are available to cover thickness ranges from 0 to 4 mm (FH4 probe) and 0 to 10 mm (FH10 probe).

The GalvanoTest 2000 & 3000 is a coating thickness gauge based on the Coulometric principle (anodic dissolution) and will work on virtually all kinds of electroplated single or multi-layer coatings (chromiumm, nickel, cadmium, copper, brass, silver, gold, tin, zinc) on metals or non-metals.

The instrument is available in two models:

  • GalvanoTest 2000: the electrolyte is moved by a pulsator nozzle
  • GalvanoTest 3000: large electrolyte volumes moved by a circulation pump enables quick serial measurements.  This instrument is particularly suitable for use on very small parts and to measure gold layers.

The anodic dissolution method, also known as Faraday’s Coulometric method, works on the lines of the electroplating process: electric current passed through an electrolyte separates individual metal coatings from the substrate. By measuring the current and time the Galvano Test determines the thickness of the coating separated.

The MiniTest 7400 is a high end dry film coating thickness gauge with a wide range of external interchangeable probes and memory for up to 250,000 measurement values and 500 measurement groups.  The instrument enables the user to take a wide range of measurements, from the thinnest coatings in the sub-micrometer range (e.g. galvanised coatings), difficult geometries of the objects to be measured (e.g. measurement of steel pins, measurement to be taken in recesses and holes, etc.) down to thick coatings (e.g. flame retardant coatings in steel constructions, rubber coatings etc.).

The probes (sensors) supplied with the instrument are extremely accurate and reproducing results on account of their manufacturing process. Despite high accuracy the sensors are wear resistant and withstand even years of use on rough surfaces. Each sensor is subject to a fully automatic factory test and provided with 50 calibration points for correction of even the slightest deviations.  Each sensor is encoded with temperature compensation for automatic correction of the effect of temperature on the readings.
