 VM-3000 can exclude the air contained in the sample.Without the presence of air, the embedded compound would fill the sample's gap, eliminating the gap between the sample and the compound. Therefore, edge retention is strengthened and fragile samples are well supported during grinding and polishing.
A sturdy vacuum pump provides enough vacuum to quickly remove any air in a porous sample. With the unique rotating cup holder in the vacuum container, multiple samples can be soaked in vacuum at the same time.
