This sound level meter software for Type 2270 is usually used together with a sound intensity probe, to assess sound levels and give instant results. This system makes it easy for one person to perform a sound intensity measurement from beginning to end. By scanning the object, you can get on-the-spot noise source identification results – including a noise map – on the sound level meter’s colour screen. This PULSE software determines the noise levels of products by measuring their sound intensity with a hand-held sound intensity probe. The user measures the sound on a flat, virtual surface on every side of the test object, at a very close distance. Because the acoustic measurements are so close to the source, the sound intensity technique can easily work despite background noise. This makes it ideal where the sound field is neither free nor reverberant, for in situ measurements, and where background noise prevents sound pressure-based measurements.

The software helps the user measure sound power using measurement methods that fulfill the standards ISO 9614–1, ISO 9614–2 and ISO 9614–3.

EASE OF USE

This PULSE software is an application template designed for easy determination of sound power using sound intensity. A dedicated user interface for each ISO standard has a clear task list that leads you through all the necessary steps to fulfil the requirements. Features, such as pop-up text and colour coding give quick updates on measurement status, and the software displays clear warnings if information is missing or does not follow the requirements. Based on the results, actions are suggested to attain the desired level of accuracy. The operator can check the health and readiness of all channels simultaneously with one click, using charge injection calibration (CIC). Users need minimal training, which makes it easy to use the system alone.

PLANAR SURFACES

For each of the flat surfaces around the test object, the software averages the sound intensity and measures the sound pressure, pressure-residual intensity index, and the dynamic capability index. The user can easily add new planar surfaces, and segment previously defined surfaces up to seven times to obtain the desired accuracy. With this technique it is possible to locate and rank noise sources for each measurement surface.

Application:

full-automatic migration tester is applied for determination the dissolution amount of

packaging materials in different simulant soaking solutions.

1) Tableware, cans, food packaging films, tubes, etc.

2) Made from polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP) or chlorinated polyvinyl

chloride (CPVC).

The test material and the inoculum are mixed and poured into the reaction kettle. The new BTZ-4200 takes advantage of compact, modern scroll compressors to bring fast temperature cycling to small form factor. The chamber can cycle temperatures at rates up to 15°C/minute without requiring cooling water or liquid nitrogen. The faster cycle times can be used to meet more aggressive test methods that require thermal stress during transitions. Significant test time can be saved in completing tests, as well. To demonstrate performance, ESPEC uses the international standard IEC 60068 3-5 measured at the supply air. Temperature cycles are run from hot to cold extremes, and the middle 80% of the transition is timed to determine performance. Your actual cycling results will vary depending on methodology, including the start and end temperatures, and the amount of samples loaded. The BTZ-4200 is based on our space-saving Criterion benchtop series. The overall footprint is just 31" x 45". Because it is so small and only requires only electrical utilities, it may be the ultimate portable temperature cycling chamber.

CHARACTERISTICS

Strong and sturdy, V994 is the ideal choice when testing requires that oversize products be subjected to extreme vibration conditions. As well as delivering high forces, thanks to its rolling armature the shaker can achieve up to 50.8 mm (2 in) displacement for sine operation and 63.5 mm (2.5 in) for transient pulses. The large diameter of the armature – 760 mm (29.9 in) – offers ample load-mounting surface to easily and securely accommodate large devices for testing.

Suitable for use in a wide range of humidity and temperature conditions, the V994 shaker has a hermetically sealed and pressurized body to shield its interior from moisture, foreign particles, and other contaminants that could cause malfunctions and delays. This increases efficiency and dependability and also protects the shaker’s load support system.

A closed-loop water cooling mechanism ensures the absence of air blowing around the shaker and test equipment, which makes it suitable for cleanrooms (certifiable to Federal Standard 209 Class 100000) and other controlled settings, including where hazardous material are tested. This feature also results in lower operational costs, as it minimizes water losses and eliminates the need for expensive air conditioning.

The shaker comes standard-mounted on a trunnion fitted with LDS® Lin-E-Air suspension that isolates the shaker from the ground, thus reducing vibration in the surrounding environment and permitting operation at low frequencies with minimal seismic interference on test results.

CHARACTERISTICS

Capable of delivering superior force and velocity performances with low capital and running costs, the V830 shakers have a usable vibration control frequency range from DC to 3.5 kHz. They can perform high-acceleration shock tests as well as tests using sinusoidal, random and transient excitations.

The two available versions feature lightweight, robust armatures that can be interchanged to extend the diameter – from 185 to 335 mm (or, from 7.28 to 13.19 in) – and enable the shaker to accommodate a broader range of loads for testing.

The larger-diameter V830-335 affords excellent overturning restraint, ensuring that larger or multiple devices under test are safely fastened when the shaker is used with a slip table. The smaller model, V830-185, is suitable for high g-force vibration control applications, such as drop tests and crash simulations.

An active suspension mechanism improves reliability at low frequencies and eliminates the need for additional resilient mountings. Its unique infrared system allows accurate control of the armature position in both vertical and horizontal operation, which is crucial for high-quality shock testing where the armature must be offset.

All shakers in the LDS® V800 series are compatible with AGREE chambers and can be integrated with other equipment for use in environmental tests. To protect the shaker when operating at high temperatures, thermal barriers can be added.

Versatile and cost-effective, LDS® V850 shakers feature top force and velocity parameters together with a usable vibration control frequency range from DC to 3 kHz. Interchangeable and lightweight armatures – with diameters of 240, 440 and 640 mm – economically increase adaptability, since the same shaker can be fitted with different armatures to adjust the mounting surface according to the size of the device under test. CHARACTERISTICS Compact-yet-powerful, this shaker combines a wide frequency band, maximum accelerations and relatively high forces to offer a versatile and cost-effective solution for a variety of testing needs that include product qualification, machinery diagnostics and instrument calibration.

Suitable for vibration and shock tests using sinusoidal and random excitations, V721 can impart peak sine forces of 2.9 kN (652 lbf) and operate in frequencies ranging from DC to 4000 Hz. Thanks to a built-in pneumatic load support system, the shaker is able to accommodate payloads up to 100 kg (220 lb) with full relative displacement.

For enhanced acceleration and velocity performances, the shaker’s armature incorporates a magnesium frame that is both lightweight and rugged; it also features a unique suspension mechanism that provides axial stiffness and improves lateral and rotational restraints.

Standard mounting for this shaker consists of a solid cast-iron trunnion which allows the thrust axis to be locked in the vertical or horizontal position. In turn, the trunnion supports are fitted with four air-isolation mounts to prevent shaker-generated vibrations from travelling through the floor.

Additionally, a number of optional and customizable features are available to tailor the V721 shaker systems to your specific needs.

V650 is suitable for shock and vibration tests using sinusoidal and random excitations. It is capable of applying up to 2.2 kN (495 lbf) of sine force and operating at frequencies ranging from 5 to 4000 Hz. The shaker is equipped with a built-in pneumatic support system that can accommodate payloads of up to 50 kg (110 lb) with full relative displacement.

Velocity and acceleration performances are enhanced by the shaker’s armature fabrication, which incorporates a unique suspension mechanism to improve axial stiffness and lateral and rotational restraints.

As standard, V650 comes mounted on a solid cast-iron trunnion that can be locked in the vertical or horizontal position for operation in either axis. Capable of delivering peak sine forces of 940 N (211 lbf) and operating in frequencies from 5 to 6300 Hz, this shaker is suitable for shock and vibration tests using sinusoidal and random excitations.

For enhanced acceleration and velocity performances, the armature assembly incorporates a unique suspension system specifically developed to offer better lateral and rotational restraints and axial stiffness. Additionally, a built-in pneumatic mechanism provides support for both the armature and the payload and allows the shaker to accommodate devices up to 25 kg (55 lb) for testing.

As standard, V555 comes mounted on a solid cast-iron trunnion and can be locked in the vertical or horizontal position for operation on either axis.
